Terms of service

Effective October 29, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you (the business buying a website) and Reach Consulting, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, doing business as Porchlight Sites ("we", "us"). By paying for a Porchlight Sites plan, you agree to them. We have kept them short and plain on purpose.

1. What you get

• Website setup: $297, one time. We design and build a mobile-friendly website for your business and put it online. It includes one round of revisions after you see the finished site.
• Hosting & care: $29 per month. Hosting, an SSL certificate (the padlock), keeping the site online, and small edits of up to 30 minutes of work per month, such as changing prices, hours, photos or text. Unused time does not roll over.

The hosting & care plan is required while we host your website. The exact amounts and billing dates are shown to you at checkout before you pay. Prices are in US dollars and do not include any taxes that may apply.

2. Timeline

We aim to have your site live within 48 hours after we receive your payment and the information we need from you (such as your services, service area and contact details). If something will take longer, for example because we are waiting on information, we will tell you.

3. Bigger changes

New pages, new features, a redesign, or edits that take more than 30 minutes in a month are outside the plan. We will quote them before doing any work, and nothing is charged without your OK.

4. Your domain

A custom domain (like yourbusiness.com) is optional. If you want one, you buy and own it in your name, typically about $10 to $20 per year paid to the registrar. We only point the domain to your website. We never touch your email settings. If you already own a domain, we can use it.

5. Billing and cancellation

• The monthly plan renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for. There are no cancellation fees.
• When you cancel, we send you your website files so you can host them anywhere you like.
• If a payment fails and is not fixed within 14 days, we may take the site offline until it is.

6. Refunds

14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not happy for any reason, email us within 14 days of your setup payment and we refund the full $297 setup fee and any monthly fee already charged. No questions asked, no forms. Refunds go back to the card you paid with through our payment processor (Stripe), usually within 1 business day of your request; your bank may take another 5 to 10 business days to show it.

Monthly plan. You can cancel the $29/month plan anytime by email. No further months are billed after you cancel, and your site stays online until the end of the month you have already paid for. After the 14-day window, monthly fees already paid are not refunded for partial months, and the setup fee is non-refundable once that window has passed.

7. Ownership

Once your setup fee is paid, the content of your website (your text, photos, logo and the finished pages we make for you) is yours. You can take the files with you if you leave. We may keep reusing our own general design system, code and know-how for other projects. Third-party parts (such as open-source code libraries and fonts) remain under their own licenses, which allow you to keep using them as part of your website.

8. Your content and responsibilities

• You confirm that you have the right to use everything you send us (photos, logos, text) and that the information about your business is accurate.
• You are responsible for your business claims, licenses and offers shown on the site. Please tell us right away if anything is wrong so we can fix it.
• You will not ask us to publish anything illegal, misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights.

9. Availability

We use reliable hosting providers and work to keep your site online, but no service is online 100% of the time. We are not responsible for outages caused by hosting providers, domain registrars or other services outside our control.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Ending service

We may stop providing service if these terms are seriously broken (for example, illegal content or repeated non-payment). If that happens we will tell you why, and you can still request your website files.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms or our prices, we will email you at least 30 days before the change affects you. You can cancel before then if you do not agree.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA.
